Vlad Kaminski, Ph.D., P.Geo. Project Manager and senior geophysicist Vlad has over 17 years of field and industry experience. He started as an assistant geologist in 1996 and worked as a summer student on the field projects in Brazil, North West Territories, Nunavut, Labrador and Northern Ontario. Vlad has graduated from Moscow State University (Moscow, Russia) in 2000 with a M.Sc. degree in Geophysics. He later joined Fugro Airborne Surveys as a field geophysicist. In 2003 Vlad entered the University of Pittsburgh as a Ph.D. candidate at the department of Geology and Planetary Science. While involved in the graduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, Vlad was employed as a research assistant at the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL, US Department of Energy). Vlad has graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in April 2008 with a Ph.D. Degree and instantly joined Geotech Airborne Surveys (Aurora, ON) as a senior geophysicist. In 2010 Vlad has started Promiseland Exploration, Ltd and changed his professional affiliation to a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of British Columbia, where he has been working with professor Douglas Oldenburg at the Geophysical Inversion Facility (UBC-GIF). Since mid-2012 Vlad was engaged full-time in project management at Promiseland Exploration, Ltd developing early-stage exploration projects in Canada.
